תערוכה בינלאומית חדשה ומרגשת הנקראת RECONSTRUCTED (שוחזר מחדש) תציג צילומי נשים עם צלקות בעקבות סרטן השד שעוטרו בזהב בהשראת האומנות היפנית הנקראת קינצוגי. התערוכה תוצג בתל אביב במשך יומיים ביוזמת האיגוד לכירורגיה פלסטית בהסתדרות הרפואית
קינצוגי היא אומנות יפנית לתיקון כלי חרס שבורים באמצעות זהב, מתוך אמונה שכלי המשקף את נזקי הזמן וההיסטוריה הופך ליותר יפה. הצלם הישראלי שחי בארצות הברית ארז סבג, ביחד עם האומן ומנהל הקריאיטיב דייוויד וורן והמנתח הפלסטי ד"ר ג'ונתן בנק, יזמו סידרת צילומים מרהיבה ומרגשת של 16 נשים מעוררות השראה מרחבי ארצות הברית. הנשים הן מכל הגילאים, השתייכות אתנית ורקע חברתי, חלו בסרטן השד, עברו ניתוחים להסרת הגידול ונותרו עם צלקות. לקראת הצילומים הייחודיים עוטרו הצלקות ואיזורי גוף נוספים בזהב בהשראת האומנות היפנית הנקראת קינצוגי, במטרה לעורר שיח, להגביר מודעות וליצור הזדהות ותקווה. הצילומים הוצגו בגלריות נחשבות בניו יורק, יצאו לאור בספר מרהיב ויוצגו בתל אביב בתערוכה מרגשת של יומיים שנקראת Reconstructed (שוחזר מחדש) כדי לבטא את הניצחון האישי של הנשים על סרטן השד.
ד"ר מאיר כהן, יו"ר האיגוד הישראלי לכירורגיה פלסטית ואסתטית בהסתדרות הרפואית מסר כי: "מקובל לחשוב שתחום הפלסטיקה מתמקד רק בהצערה, הגדלה, הקטנה וניתוחי יופי, אך חלק בלתי נפרד מעיסוקם של הרופאים המומחים לכירורגיה פלסטית, הם ניתוחי שיחזור לנשים שחלו בסרטן השד. התערוכה הייחודית משקפת את המציאות, באופן אומנותי ורגיש, מעצימה את הנשים ומעבירה מסר כי מדובר בניתוחים חיוניים שתורמים משמעותית לאיכות חיים טובה יותר"
התערוכה תוצג בתל אביב במשך יומיים ביוזמת האיגוד לכירורגיה פלסטית לכל באי הכנס השנתי ה – 45 של האיגוד שיערך בימים שני ושלישי בין התאריכים 25-26 בנובמבר 2019 במלון הילטון בתל אביב. החלק המקצועי של הכנס המיועד לרופאים, יתרחש בשעות היום. החלק לציבור הרחב יתרחש בשעות אחר הצהריים והערב ויכלול הרצאות קצרות עם מומחים ונקרא: ניתוחים פלסטיים וטיפולים אסתטיים כל האמת. כיו״ר הכנס המקצועי מכהן ד״ר אריאל טיסונה, סגן מנהל המחלקה לכירורגיה פלסטית ומשחזרת במרכז הרפואי שיבא ובראש הכנס לציבור עומד ד"ר גיא נחמני, רופא מומחה לכירורגיה פלסטית ואסתטית. את ההפקה לכנס השנתי של האיגוד, מבצעת חברת זיפר תקשורת חווייתית ואת יחסי הציבור לכנס מוביל משרדה של נאוה עינבר.
