ד"ר מאיר כהן, יו"ר האיגוד הישראלי לכירורגיה פלסטית ואסתטית בהסתדרות הרפואית וד"ר אריאל טיסונה, סגן מנהל המחלקה לכירורגיה פלסטית בשיבא, העניקו השבוע תעודות הוקרה מטעם האיגוד למספר אנשי מקצוע בתחום הרפואה האינטרנט והיחסי ציבור. תעודת הוקרה מיוחדת הוענקה לד"ר חיים קפלן, המציג קריירה מפוארת של 35 שנים כרופא מומחה לכירורגיה פלסטית ואסתטית. תעודות הוקרה נוספת הוענקה לד"ר אודי מאור מהמרכז הרפואי סורוקה בבאר שבע, על פעילותו ההתנדבותית כעורך אתר האינטרנט של האיגוד וכן תעודת הוקרה נוספת הוענקה לנאוה עינבר, דוברת האיגוד בשלוש השנים האחרונות, על חדשנות שיווקית ויוזמה ביחסי ציבור והצטיינות בניהול המשברים התקשורתיים של האיגוד.
התעודות הוענקו בכנס השנתי ה – 45 של האיגוד שנערך השבוע בהשתתפות שיא של 953 אנשי מקצוע מהארץ והעולם במלון הילטון בתל אביב אליו הוזמנו דוברים בינלאומיים מובילים במטרה להחליף ידע, לדון בטכניקות ניתוחיות ובסוגיות מחקריות.
לצד תוכנית ההרצאות הוצגה בכנס במלון הילטון בתל אביב תערוכה מקצועית גדולה בתחום הכירורגיה הפלסטית, נערך כנס לאחיות, כנס למתאמות וכנס פתוח לציבור.
באי הכנס צפו בסידרת צילומים מרהיבה ומרגשת נשים מעוררות השראה אשר חלו בסרטן השד, עברו ניתוחים להסרת הגידול ונותרו עם צלקות אשר עוטרו בזהב בהשראת האומנות היפנית הנקראת קינצוגי.
עוד נטלו חלק באירגון הכנס המוצלח, ד"ר גיא נחמני יו"ר הכנס לציבור, ד"ר רון עזריה – מזכיר האיגוד, ד"ר רועי עינבר – גזבר האיגוד, גילת בן ארי – מזכירת האיגוד.
